Using an iPod Shuffle without iTunes

A few weeks ago I got an 1GB iPod Shuffle form as a thank you gift. After I have had made my 'musical fashion statement' I decided that I actually might want to try to use it as a mp3 player.

Personally I'm not a big fan of Apple, I'm even less affectionate towards iTunes.

This is the moment when iSHUFFLE 1.0 - a tiny application written by Packard - comes in handy. All you have to do is:

1. Copy the iShuffle.exe file to your iPod
2. Copy your music to the /Music folder
4. Enjoy your music.

Every time you update your music files you need to repeat these steps so the index file can be rebuilt.

The application is freeware and can be downloaded from the iSHUFFLE offical website.
